Really bad!!! The big news is that 30 Below will be playing at Mankato rib fest, opening for the Gear Daddies. The side project, formerly Combined Theory now 529, will be hopefully playing at cabooze in July. This will be reflected in the dates section of 30 Below.

Man I am bad at updating. USCHO.com goes well, family is well.

Slacker!

Wow! A long time between updates- while there are no new updates to the family history I do have other developments- please visit shop.uscho.com. Do it now. This is the online (and physical retail store) that I had the pleasure of building from scratch. It's a very gratifying but time-consuming job. I get to work from home which is scary at times (unwashed, socially isolated, etc) but I hope I do not have to return to it any time soon.

www.uscho.com and shop.uscho.com; your collegiate sports headquarters!

Also, if I saw you at our 20th high school reunion please email me! I would also like to a.) apologize for my blatant drunkness and b.) say that you looked great!

It's another Girl!

Wow! A long time between updates- we are the proud parents of Madeline Dee Smith, born February 15th at 5:55 a.m.. She was a big girl! 9.4 ounces.

Happy 2006!

Just making you aware that I actually update this......we are expecting a boy or girl any day now.....will keep you posted.

Happy Holidays!

While you are enjoying your Christmas and New Year's how you will, please say a small prayer for our friend and a good person that passed away in a tragic accident this past Sunday. Jenny Peterson was a sparkplug that new her football, enlisted in service to her country, and was a great person. I counted myself fortunate to know her. The information below is the obituary that appeared in the paper this week.

"Jenny loved to travel and had traveled throughout the United States including Alaska and Hawaii; Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico and Italy. She played on the Cities Sports Connection leagues year round with her brother and their friends. Anyone who played in those leagues knew her as Coach P.

Jenny lived life to the fullest and was always ready for adventure. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great storyteller. Jenny also had a sense of mischief and loved to play practical jokes. She was a trustworthy friend and a loving daughter and sister. Her biggest joy was spending time with family and friends; and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Jenny is survived by her parents, Dennis and Lorene, her brother David and his wife Saunya, and sister Mandy. Jenny is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her cat, Stimpy."

Greetings and welcome to the site. The Guestbook is active again. The return of winter means that I will once again get back into family history and should be updating photos and people. Gander Mountain is a great place to work, as is in St. Paul.

30 Below has purchased a new practice space in St. Paul! We have a new guitar player and are targeting a date of April 1 2005 for our next gig at Shamrocks in St. Paul.

Did I say we may be moving? Well, we are! To Lino Lakes, MN. The ancestry files have been modified to include information on my dad's side. In addition, I have added photos.

Please see the 30 Below section as we are planning a January gig at Degidio's that will be large.

OK, so I never claimed to be prompt on the updates. We may be moving and there are of course every other type of distraction during the short summer months. Keep checking back as the ancestry files are updates almost every two weeks.

The Family Ancestry is up and running. Check it out here...
